Dear All,
I am new to the forum. I would like to post my worry here about rheumatoid arthritis. I am 24 yr old male

I am living in India. I am having knee pain in both the legs, its not a very big pain, we can say it a discomfort.

It started like this. Around 20 days back I have done heavy squatting. After 3-4 days of that, my right leg knee started having mild pain like burning sensation. It was in one knee till then, I rested for some time and used some OTC pain killers. Then the pain started in left knee also, same type of pain but it was just mild in left knee.

Well i then consulted a orthopedic specialist for my knee pains. He said its chondromalacia patellae also called runners knee. He said after some time the things will resolve.

But I have constant worry that I have
rheumatoid arthritis as I have seen on google that it affects both legs joint.

I even asked doctor he said its not RA and left knee is paining because more load is put on it as right knee is injured.

So afer 3 weeks, i.e today . I have pain in both knee. Sometimes in one knee and sometimes in other. Its like switching sides. And I also have burning sensation when i sit for too long on my working desk.

Pain is perfect when I rest or sleep. Not much morning stiffness.

My worry is worst when yesterday i started mild pain in my right leg ankle.

Please suggest me some thing as worrying is taking away my active life.

Please note I have no visible swelling, no warm feeling, no tenderness on touch as doctor checked these things himself.

Doctor had my right knee xray and told me it is clean.

Regards
Danny

Not sure what else we can say Danny if the doctor has told you it isn't that and the x-ray was clear.

You need to trust in them.

Thanks for the reply dear.

I think i have been too much anxious. Shall I wait for some time and check in my body for some other responses?

I have decided to take some rest from gym and all.
Can anyone suggest some early rheumatoid arthritis signs i need to kep in mind while managing my current situation.
