Cervical erosion

Hi i am going crazy. I have been told i have cervical ectropion and im so worried about it as i read somewhere it can lead to cervical cancer in a few years. Im so scared with worry. Has anybody had cervical ectropion at young age and had no problem later on in life with smears? Thanks
