Scared of getting depression

Hi I havent been on for a good while and still struggling with anxiety but I just wanted to ask if some one can give me abit of advice as ive been feeling abit down the past few days and now I cant stop worring in case im getting depression and its scareing me because I seem to get it in my head that depression means suicide and if I get it wat if that happens to me and the thoughts of me getting deppression scares the life out of me and I dont know if its the anxiety that is making me think this way or why I always think depresssion means suicide for some reason so im just wondring if some one could give me abit of advice thk you

I'm guessing, but I would imagine that only 1 in 1000 people who suffer with depression actually think about suicide, and out of those that do, probably 1 in 1000 actually do anything about it.

Depression is incredibly common. Suicide is not.
