I was doing brilliantly HA-wise after my CBT until last week I noticed a strange patch on my forearm. I had spent the bank holiday weekend outdoors in the sun and had been putting sun cream on and not noticed anything unusual but on Wednesday last week I noticed that 2 freckles had gone darker and there was a new red area between them that looked inflamed and a bit raised. The freckles aren't raised. I saw my GP and he didn't know what it was but as it's 7mm thought I needed to see a dermatologist. Found out today my appointment is on Monday. Now my HA has come back big time. I'm referred under the 2 week rule so my GP suspects skin cancer. Weirdly the red patch has almost gone and the freckles are lighter as I have kept out of the sun and the 7mm measurement was for the whole patch whereas the separate freckles aren't that big. Just needed to vent to people who understand.
