Bruise with a lump on arm?

I have a big bruise on my inner forearm that has appeared yesterday. It looks quite bad but I have absolutely no recollection of bumping it and it also isn't an obvious place to bang as it's inside my arm. Do you think the fact that it's come up in a lump suggests s trauma rather than bleeding from under the skin? I'm worried this is an example of unexplained bruising.

Also I can see tiny red dots in and near the bruise. Only a few but I'm worried these are petechiae. I'm freaking out abit now. I was starting to do a bit better but it doesn't take much to set me back again.
