hello I suffer anxiety.
I recently found out my mum has stage 4 lung cancer and this has sent my anxiety and worries crazy.
I feel constantly like im drunk. Is this a known thing with anxiety thanks

Really sorry to hear about your Mom. I hope everything works out for her and for you.

The symptoms of anxiety can be all over the place. I’ve had lots of panic attacks over the years and I can definitely see how they could be described as feeling drunk. Also, make sure you’re eating and try to sleep

My mom is stage 4 melanoma. It sent my anxiety into overdrive. I didn’t know I had health anxiety until I became pregnant with my son two months after my mom was diagnosed. I wanted to let you know you’re not alone in that.

If any one reading this is triggered by melanoma, know this, that was Spring 2015, she’s still working and babysitting her grands praying for another NED visit in about a month.
