My hair really needs dying...I've only ever used to bleach it, but I went dark at the hairdressers a few months back. I didn't have any trouble at the hairdressers, but now I've no money at all and it's faded to a horrible orange colour.
But I've seen all those horror stories from hair dye reactions and now...I'm too scared to do it myself, it was bleach or if I was at the hairdressers, I'd be fine but I'm not. I've never dyed my hair dark before... and I've heard the darker the dye, the worst risk of reaction.
I look like a looney because I've bought about 3 different dyes...an allergy gentle one, a semi permanent and a normal 'foam' colour one and I've patched tested all three with seemingly no troubles, but I'm too terrified. I don't know what to do, would the semi permanent one be better?
