Hi Layla Lou,

Good luck at the docs. I'm not sure if you've looked at the medication page which can be accessed through the link on the left. There is some information about Prozac there under SSRI's.

I was on Prozac for nearly a year and it never touched the panic/anxiety - just helped with the depression.

Hi Layla, I have been given a precscription of prozac for my panic attacks, I got the pills about 3 weeks ago now but have been too afraid to try them,
however today I had a chat with my GP about them, and she told me to start off slow by taking 1 20mg pill at bedtime because any side effects wont be so obvious, she also told me i can take them on alternative days to start with, to ween me into them slowly.
She also said that prozac takes 4 - 8 weeks to work, so dont give up on them. She said it is one of the most tollerated pill.
take a read....
