This is dumb but I'm scared. I know bathroom sinks can have alot of germs and I was washing my face and I usually don't pull my hair back cos it's short... so a strand was in the sink/drain and then somehow got into my mouth. I brushed my teeth and rinsed out my mouth with water but I'm really scared that I picked up bacteria and I'm going to get some horrible illness like e. coli. I should be fine if I rinsed my mouth right?

No, you’re fine. Your reaction is pure anxiety.

Also I’ve heard that kitchen sinks are worse than bathroom sinks....

My 3 year old licks the sink all the time.

Your body can handle germs, up to a point. A sink (unless absolutely filthy) will be well, well below that point.

Ha! I found my 4 year old lapping water from the tap the other day pretending to be a cat.
