Blood clot panic - help!

I woke it this morning and found I'd been sleeping at some point with the knuckle of my thumb pressed against my bedside cabinet and as a result, it was bruised/purplish. My arm now feels slightly 'odd' and I'm terrified I have a blood clot working it's way around my arm?

I am pretty sure you can't get blood clots that way.

I'm wondering that too - but I also worried that cutting off blood like that could lead to compartment syndrome which could be even worse for me.

I've been lucky enough to get access to some talking therapy (again) - having checked out my current situation and thoughts against the supplied PHQ-9 questionnaire my score was 22...
