Purple mosquito bite.

I’ve got a mosquito bite on my leg that got pretty big and very red, I have been scratching it a bit, now four days later it looks purple and I’m afraid something is wrong, like an infection or a symptom for something. The purple area has not grown or anything.

Anyone with similar experience??

I have several mozzie bites on my legs and arms,it is really hard not to scratch them,I scratch until I bruise you have nothing to worry about.:D

I wouldn't assume that this is just a bruise. It can be an infection, and you can not be sure that it was a mosquito bite, right?

I’m 100% sure it’s a mosquito bite, i had drink of wine with some friends outside at night and my legs starting to itch, I’ve got two bites and the one I didn’t scratch looks more normal and red now. Both of them first started to visibly and bumpy the day after.

As a kid I was allergic to mosquitoes and had gigantic bites, but I can’t remember if any of them bruised.
