Hi Everyone:D

Thought Id start a new thread as Im now well enough to go back to work:D

Ive been job hunting for a couple of weeks and just had my first interview in years:yesyes:

It went well and I should hear within 2 weeks:yesyes:

It was in a massive office block with 1000 + employees and I dident panic once(considering before I found NMP I could barely leave the house) was pretty good I think:yesyes:

So thought Id start this thread for anyone job hunting and to let others know that there is light at the end of the tunnel!!!

Also on Thursday Im going to docs to see about getting nicotine replacement cos Ive decided to try and quit my nasty 40 a day habit so I will let you know how that goes too:blush:

Good luck with the smoking too, I have never smoked so have no idea what it's like to give up but my hubby gave up smoking 2 years ago after smoking for over 20 years and I never thought he'd do it but he did so it can be done! He did it with patches and never once cheated after he put the first patch on! The first few days he ate me out of house and home and was irritable but after that he was fine.

Got an interview tomm (wed) at 3pm with a private detective agency!!!

Sent them my cv on the off chance and they want to see me:yesyes:

I used to run my own detective agency back in the 90s so well qualified!!!

Gotta drive myself there and pray I dont panic:blush:

Id sent him my cv and wasent sure what post he needed filled......turns out he had picked up on my 14 yrs office exp and wanted a full time secretary!!!

I cant work full time cos I have 8 pets to care for and I dont want to be a secretary!!!

But I posted under sucess today cos I drove alone etc:yesyes:

Quick update:D

Have applied for another two jobs:D

Smoking is going well I was on 40 a day(gasp) and in 5 days with the inhaler im down to 30 a day:D

Dont sound too good I know but cant go from 40 to nothing have been advised to cut down before the big quit

The giving up smoking isn't easy I expect and especially when you have other stresses. Don't give yourself a hard time about it. You are trying and that's the important thing. It is yourself you are doing it for :hugs:
