Inhaling bark and poop dust

Long story short I was cleaning out my snake and was engulfed in a load of the bark dust and poop dust as it was all dried.

I'm asthmatic and whilst it luckily hasn't triggered an attack I'm terrified that I've inhaled some dangerous spore in the dust and I'll get a bad lung infection.

My throat is already dry, trying really hard not to panic

Perhaps your throat is dry because of the anxiety you are feeling. And maybe to prevent this type of anxiety in the future wear a mask when cleaning out the snake habitat. Either way, I'm sure you're OK!
