I have crippling HA mainly focusing on lymphoma. I have swollen lymph nodes in my groin which I ‘discovered’ after a recent flare up of HA.
Had reassurance from docs and found another one which felt hard and large to me, which I have had checked out and doc says is fine, just reactive node and some shotty ones.
It now (a day later) feels bigger and very sore (prodding?)
I am on citalopram (14 days in) and have started CBT yesterday.
My question is how long will it take for me to believe I am ok? I just keep feeling the lymph node and thinking it is bigger and harder and now it is really sore.
How do I stop myself from checking it? And worrying about every itch I have is lymphoma?
I just want to have a normal feeling after I am reasssured from a doctor that it is real and it won’t have grown monstrously over night.
How did you manage this?
Any advice is greatly appreciated
