paltalk question for you computer friendly people

Ok this has nothing to do with anxiety per se but it's giving me fits so to keep me from going totally mad I NEED HELP!!!

How do you get a mic to work in paltalk??

I've been to every message board - even talked to a support guy and still NOTHING!!!

I WANNA SING in the online karoake rooms but with no mic I'm just a mime and that doesn't work without video - PMSL

I'm the unviewable mime for crine out loud:lisa:

I deleted Paltalk as I was told that you can get a virus from it due to pop ups etc.

I can't recall right now how to get a mic to work but I used to play music in a room via my soundcard.

I still can't figure out how to do the settings so that my mic works in the rooms. It seems that it's a difficult thing to accomplish and it's peeved me off so bad that I'm about ready to just say forget it - LOL

What torked me off the most is that I go into a computer help room and they keep asking me 'is your mic turned on?'
I felt like telling them 'no I'm a dumba@@ and felt like wasting your time' - hahaha
GRRRRR

Oh well guess maybe it wasn't meant to be.
