NMP downtime on Sunday 19th August 2018

Hi all

Alex has been working hard on getting NMP ready to move to a secure site (https).

We need a few hours downtime to implement this and so the website, forum, chat room and shop will be down on Sunday for a couple of hours.

Alex is aiming to start sometime around 16:00 (UK time) but will post on here when he is ready to shut it down.

This is turning into a bigger job than first thought and we are now getting a new server so NMP will have to be installed and set-up on that as well.

We will keep you all updated.

Quick update: Alex is still building the new server so not sure when we will be shutting it down as yet but he will let us know.

Hi all

Update on progress. The new server has been built but there are a few more things I need to do so we will NOT be having any downtime tonight.

The downtime will be either tomorrow afternoon or Tuesday evening depending upon a few technical things.

I will post on this thread prior to anything happening.

Ok we are now 'Good to go'

I will be disabling the forum at 16:30 and you will NOT be able to post until the entire migration process has completed.

Some of the migration process is out of our control and could take upto 24 hours to complete so please bear with us.

Hi all,

The migration is taking longer than expected so I have re enabled access to the forum. The migration is still in progress and if you suddenly get a message saying the forum is unavailable then its because the new server is being used.

Once the new server is being used I will update it and unlock the forum.
