Hey all.

I keep my windows open a lot. It helps my anxiety about weird/unhealthy smells in my apt. Unfortunately, I live right in the middle of the city, and therefore some unappetizing smells get in sometimes. A lot of the times I'll get a whiff of car exhaust and it will make me sick. I feel like it lingers no matter how much I ventilate my room. Is there any danger from this?

in this day in age, with all the cancers and diseases out there, it makes you wonder why and how. I personally avoid chemicals, fumes and all that for the very reason that they could be dangerous. Environmental toxins have to be a culprit. My brother is a mechanic, he works inside of a building with no windows....and he sees a neurologist for headaches.

carbon monoxide is more than annoying!

it doesn't help that I have a new window AC unit that makes a really gross smell whenever I turn it on. so it's gross AC smell or possible exhaust/CO from outside. lovely!
