Big toe pain

Has anyone experienced big toe pain? It is only when I walk and push off and isworse on one side than the other. Also have had some occasional numbness and tingling on same side. In the Great Pain Deception Ozanich talks about toe pain and gout being an anxiety symptom. I searched forums and found nothing. thanks.

Yeah I have experienced it before. Maybe you've injured it at some point? If it's bothering you a lot when you walk then maybe go and see your doctor.

It is mostly annoying with occasional sharp stabs of pain on the right. I am of course catastrophizing...

I actually had this happen a little while ago, sharp stabbing pain, numbness, and it lasted for about 10 days. Now its fine. Comes and goes, and I know its nothing serious. Yours sound exactly like what happened to me, so dont worry about it.
