I have posted about this before but I am having another meltdown about having relapsing polychondritis that I can't shake off. I have been having this pain in my ear when I sleep or when I put on headphones for the past 3 years. Besides that, I have never had any other symptoms. I went to the doctor 2 years ago and she said it's an inflammation of the cartilage..i was fine with painkillers and some creams for my ear, and a new pillow. Then, one day that I was bored, I had the brilliant idea of further googling my symptoms...and I came across "Relapsing Polychondritis"..and now I am terrified that I have it.
Now I am having serious panic attacks over this.
What's even worse is that in 1 week I am moving to another country to start a master's degree. I really don't know what to do. I feel awful and I don't want this to affect my school performance and my life in general. This anxiety is too debilitating. I am only 27 years old and I don't want to keep suffering forever.
