On Saturday I did a 10 mile walk I haven't walked so far for a long long time, I'm only used to doing a 3 mile max walk weekly. Saturday's was not steep but gentle slopes through woods/countryside paths etc. I had no trouble finishing the walk but 2 days ago I noticed a bruise on the top of one foot and both feet and ankles swelled slightly in the day. The muscles in my legs ache a bit which I expected. I'm worried that I've done some damage to my feet as I have diabetes. Is this what I should expect after the walk? Can anyone help please?

What does your common sense tell you?

You have done more exercise than you are used to and you are sore afterwards.

Yes you're right- just woke early and worried about it, blew it out of all proportion
