My mum bought me a book at the weekend which I have found really helpful and I wanted to recommend it. It is called:

'Climbing out of depression' and is by Sue Atkinson.

It's quite 'spiritual' in places, but don't let that put you off. It contains some really down to earth advice and comments and is broken down into really easy to read sections.

Hiya

Does it cover anxiety too? I got David Burns book "feeling good" for Anxiety, but it only seems to deal with depression.

It does cover anxiety, although it's main focus is depression.

For anxiety, I would recommend 'Self Help for your Nerves' by Claire Weeks.

Ty Jill and woofy, I do have claire weekes books, infact, self help is the only book I have ever read cover to cover, well apart from the Beano manual 1974 ;)
