So oral cancer is my fear of the week... I literally went to the dentist 2 weeks ago and she always checks my tongue and mouth because I used chewing tobacco years ago. Still cant shake the fear though. Been having intermittent ear pain some days and not others, voice goes a little hoarse in the afternoons, and little mouth ulcers that show up and heal in a couple days. Ive heard GERD can cause these symptoms (which I do have) but anxiety always has me freaking out... 😒😒

My understanding is that OC from chewing is usually pretty easy to spot because it’s near the front of the mouth or tongue where the tobacco was held, vs hpv or smoking which can cause it further back.
