Hey,
I’m 19 and I have lupus. I’ve had this swollen lymph node ended my chin for three years now. I wen to the doctor about it about two years ago and they said it was fine. It was about 3 cm. It’s still there and might be a tiny bit smaller even but still there. Now I am a sophomore nursing student and we are studying lymph nodes and they say that hard fixed lymph nodes are cancer. I’m so freaked out. I don’t get night sweats and I’m not loosing weight. Would I know if I had cancer after three years of a swollen node? The doctor I go to for lupus said that sometimes nodes just swell and stay perminantly swollen when you have a chronic illness like lupus. Is this true? Sorry I’m just super scared. Thanks!!
