Just wanted to vent really. I have had health anxiety as long as I can remember, never officially diagnosed with anxiety by the doctor as I don’t go that often, normally I manage to talk myself down and go months with no adverse issues.

Found a dimple in my boob in may which I had checked and was convinced I had cancer but all tests were clear and I calmed down.

I’ve had a good few months until Thursday when I started getting a prickley feeling in the right side of my face. All different spots on my face intermittently. And on my head under my hair etc. I’m sure it’s my anxiety - my job is stressful and I hate it. I’m reluctant to visit a doctor as I just don’t do that. It’s been 5 days now I’m not sure how I’m gonna get past this one.

Why does it always come back 😪

Would be pleased to hear similar stories from people xx

Hi Kells,

While I can't shed any light on your symptoms I can understand what you are saying about your HA. The trouble with HA is we won't ever really be fully rid of it and there will always be ups and downs. Particularly if you haven't had any treatment and don't address the underlying cause of your thought patterns so you can try and work to change them.

It could be days, weeks, months or even years until a new symptom triggers you again. Some of us last longer than others in between worries - for me it's days! If you have other stressors in your life it will likely increase it all too.

Thanks for your kind reply. So frustrating isn’t it :(

Has anyone ever tried karms? I might give them a bash x
