HIV Scare

I recently got a text from a man I hooked up with saying that he tested positive for HIV and that I should get tested. When we hooked up I only ever gave him blowjobs and I never swallowed. The last time I hooked up with him was August 3rd 2018. I went for an HIV test and the results came back negative but everyone says that since it’s been only a little over a month that I’d need to wait two more months and get another one to be sure I haven’t contracted it. While I feel good that my recent test came back negative I’m driving myself crazy thinking I’ve still got it. I haven’t had any symptoms that websites say are related to it but they also say some people have no symptoms at all. Can anyone give me some peace of mind so I can survive until my next HIV test? Thank you.

Oral sex is an extremely low risk activity. You’re most likely fine, but get tested at the appropriate interval to be sure.

Although if you're 'hooking up' a lot, you might find that a high risk activity.
