I had a blood test done in November last year due to constant cough for over a month and was diagnosed with allergies. The cough went away after some medication but I've been having CONSTANT post nasal drip ever since. I had another bout of coughing some weeks ago which went away after being put on a different allergy medication. But week or so ago, I noticed yellow phlegm in the morning. ONLY in the morning and normal phlegm after that. It went away but then returned again today. I saw a huge chuck of yellow phlegm, gross. I think there was a tiny bit of blood in it? But I am not sure about that. The doctor keeps telling me that it's from allergies and post nasal drip but how is my phlegm yellow? I am freaking out. I am an 18 year old female. Please help.
