Hi everyone...
BIG SHOUT to GG who is so frequently on the ball...:)
OK...I made it to Swansea on First Great Western train services...No hitches or headless chicken interludes...I've got the return journey tomorrow...
Trains are a bit crowded though aren't they? Not much mind-room for looking out of the window and contemplating the meaning of my life (or something like that)...what with mobile phone conversations and groups of dodgy looking youths (I decided to move to another seat once because I couldn't handle the thought of being on edge over their antics...and then they all get off at the next stop...doh!) :ohmy: :lac:
Anyhow...I'm glad I made the effort and so was my mum...it's been great to escape the rat-race that is Londinium and enjoy the spectacular views of Swansea Bay and the Gower Peninsula...:yesyes:
