Ive done the 2nd session of the Improv course last night now. Its really good and the Group is an incredible group of very varied people. The 2 people running the course are making the space really safe for us taking part.

Im also still writing poetry for my sanity though the topics are quite dark at the moment it seems for me.

I have been in my support group for a few months again after hitting the buffers here in Harlow ,also I have revived my interest in history once more ,my favourite place being Blickling Hall in Norfolk ,as well as music gigs the next one UFO next year, plus I am a mentor for people with addiction problems I have parts one and two qualifications .

All helps my mental heath ,plus I had an alcohol addiction to do with the depression ,that I kicked too, I like to keep busy.!

Thats great Richard, sorry Im slow in replying but have been on holiday.
Ive managed 5 weeks of my Improv course now and it really is proving a great outlet.

They have now said that we will be doing a show on Dec 10th <gulp> when the course has finished.

So Im 7 lessons in and its really going well.
Every week Im challenged and I seem to get through the session.
Its very quick thinking and If Im low mood and anxious I do doubt my ability but I think the class is a nice bunch of people and its a very collaborative environment with no 'wrong' to any class work.

Last night I went to an improv JAM where there were really experienced Improvisers, I went expecting to just watch the show for 2 hours but I found myself letting my name go in the hat and I performed 2 two people scenes with more experienced improvisers. really enjoyed it though it felt hairy lairy scary.

1st scene became about a Yorkshire family that only had a roast bumblebee for Christmas dinner.
2nd scene became about the Nativity and Mary misplacing the Son of God.

Lawks, our Imaginations can be leftfield.

I love to make things, woodwork, metalwork etc. I'm happiest when I'm in my workshop tinkering with projects.
