I am a 28 y/o female. When I was about 15, I had a biopsy done on a swollen lymph node on the right side of my neck. It was non-cancerous, thank God!
The biopsy ultimately lead to a keloid scar on the neck. It feels sore and tender up until now, but only when I grab it up and touch it. I absolutely love that feeling of soreness and tenderness from touching it. It feels great to me. I even beg my poor husband to massage it for me. He told me to stop touching it because it can't be good.
What could really happen by fiddeling an old keloid scar? There are small lymph nodes underneath it. I can feel them. Will that lead to any problems? I plan to quit touching the keloid scar.
