Slip with health anxiety again, pain issues

So, I've been doing really well with my health anxiety lately but today has really knocked me back. The last few days sometimes when I went to the toilet after a pee I would have one area of bright red blood. I didn't think much about it, thought maybe it was ovulation and moved on. Today I've slipped totally today.

I woke up with bad pains on the right side of my body, going all the way down from like my middle back, lower back, all the way down my leg and around my knee. It's a bad pain but no unbearable. I had pain like this a few months back when my HA was really high.

Like we have a weather alert in Ireland and where I live is the middle of no where so I wouldn't be able to get help (a big issue and talking about that in therapy).

So like I know it's probably just a infection or something yet my mind is forcing towards something worse :(. I can't even go into a walk in clinic until tomorrow evening sometime. I'm not bad enough to go into A&E anymore but I just feel like is a issue I might not be able to get over.

The last few times I went to the toilet...the toilet paper was covered in like this really light pinkish color. I've put some cream on my back but I still get intense pain. I'm kinda worked up now.

Unexplained blood in urine should be investigated. I know because I have had it recently and the doctor send me for an ultrasound.

I do have kidney stones as well though so they said it could be them.

@Nomorepanic Thank you for replying!! I hope the stones aren't to bad with pain. My friend had them before and they were awful!

I went to a clinic, they said it's most likely a infection and give me something to take and sent me along on my way. Hopefully it starts to clear up as I don't want to go for more Bloods and stuff!

Well the main issue seems to be clearing up! Which is good, I haven't been feeling great from the side effect from the meds but I'm hoping to truck along to a good place again!

@nomorepanic Thank you! Last night and today sadly I haven't been feeling great! Lots of kinda pain/discomfort on the left especially! Bloating also! I'm just taking it as a bad side effect of the tablets mixed in with IBS issues!! Not letting my mind run off with something to wild!! The bleeding issues is mainly gone now so that's good! ��

While the tablets are really helping with certain issues, I'm really struggling with other things. Like my stomach really hurts and my back. Like does any have any tips or tricks to help??

Like I have IBS so I'm also struggling with some.. Or lots of runny (tmi) stool.

Hi! Sorry I actually didn't have the name on me and spelling isn't my strong point! It's Augmentin. I have to take it 3 times a day for seven days so just finished the 3rd!

Yeah look up the side-effects - you have them

Augmentin is strong and will give you the runs. Have you tried eating some live natural yogurt which may help to settle your gut a bit and also contains probiotics which help when you are taking a course of antibiotics?

I'm sorry you've had this blip, Louise, but finish the augmentin course and see how things are afterwards? This will be a testing time for you but you have seen a doctor and you have been diagnosed with a routine infection so no need to let your mind wander onto other "options" which your HA may suggest.

@Pulisa Thank you for the advice! I'll defo buy some of that yogurt tomorrow. I know I have to finish out the augmentin. Can't get rid of the issue without facing it! Even tho I hate taking tablets at the best of times! I actually wasn't to bad today. Still having the issues but I know I had a ultrasound and CT a few months back, a smear done about a month ago! So many other tests also. So I won't say it's anything to serious. Just a few moments of weakness.

So the bleeding has mostly stopped!! Which is great. My stomach is mostly better also. I'm still getting some sharp pain in my lower back but trying to remind myself that's propbaly just a muscle issue or something!!

I've been... A little on the downlow. Lots of bad headaches, some other issues that haven't been around in awhile. I'm doing my best to stay postive and have a good mindset. Reminding myself of all the good clear results I've had and trying not to do the what ifs and what ifs. Like as I type this I have such a bad headache, a cold and nose issues that won't seem to shift after weeks and other things to moan about that I won't. Its just exhausting as when I start to move on. Real illness (nothing to serious yet thankful) keeps coming up and up. Making it hard to move on :(

I was good for most of the day, but when I went to the toilet the last two times there was small bits of fresh blood on the toilet paper. The back pain is also back. I still have about 2 days of tablets to take. Its just fustrating. Like it was cleared up and it seemed like it was gone but it seems to be coming back again

I get blood a lot and have been told it is just piles.

@Nomorepanic I have often gotten blood spots after passing stool. I didn't think much about it as I know I've had ripes there before, I guess it's because it's coming from urine. Like there doesn't seem to be any blood in the water just on the tissue. I also have a lot of lower back pain all over but especially on the left side. The doctor said last night I don't have a kidney infection. So I don't know, it just seems to be alot to me. This is probably me over thinking it all.

Oh sorry - yes I was talking about bowel movements and blood and not blood coming from urine output.

Mine did stop after I had it a couple of times.

It still could be kidney stones.

@nomorepanic Thank you for replying!! Sorry if I came across as ungrateful for your reply. I didn't mean it like that at all! It means a lot that you would reply. I asked the doctor about it being kindey stones and he didn't think so??

Thankful there was no blood today so maybe it was a once off or did come from the other end in some type of mix up. I still have some back pain but it seems to come and go. I'm also rather exhausted but I am doing alot during the days somewhat? My stomach can feel uncomfortable (slight pains) and bloated sometimes but I have IBS so trying not to dwell on that one!

I did have a moment of panic earlier worrying about something like bladder cancer! Then I reminded myself of what I learned in therapy. I had a ct scan a few months back that I think covered that area. I also stopped myself from googling or looking up anything to stop that rabbit hole! That 99.9999% not anything that sinster and I'm being over dramaict! I'm feeling better mood wise today and not so freaked. Well at times!!

Trying to be postive and just take my tablets lol! Sorry for renting so much

Soo, just to update this again. I haven't had any bleeding since the pain in my back and stomach has mainly chilled out but still ha sits moments. So... I was doing good for a day or two.

Then tonight after drying myself after a shower.. I was drying a rather private last area when I felt the biggies lump! I did get a bit freaked for the moment. I manged to look into the mirror and it looked just like a spot in a very unfortunate area! Hopefully. The head/tip of the spot came off during the drying process.

So other worries would be something to do with that lump of a spot. I feel like I'm the last week I've been going to the the toilet to make a number one more and more foften. I nearly saw myself checking down there with my phone (to shine a light). While it wouldn't be fair of me to harm on.

So bascislly I'm stressed and wools personally jusy like a cuppa in bed!

Honsetly I've tried reading over this since I wrote it about 25 mintues ago. I don't know what's coming over me. My body and mind feel like they aren't working. It feels like there's omething wrong mentally and emotionally. If someone could reply and chat to me. I'm losing it. I feel so confused and ill right now
