Overthinking

I have been on 5 mg Lexapro for 4 weeks, and hadn’t slept much since my first dose. I have been feeling worse than baseline and intrusive thoughts have been breaking through more often. My doc decided I should switch to Zoloft and I could do so immediately without a Lexapro taper because I was already on the smallest dose.
Anyone have side effect remission when switching from Lexapro to Zoloft? And have you done so “immediately” rather than cross taper? I am starting on 25 mg Zoloft for 3 days, then 50 mg thereafter. Took my first 25 mg this morning
