Bad headache and nausea

Since last night my girlfriend has been haveing a bad headache and nauseousness. She said it was a five before bed last night. And now its a seven, when she was useing the bathroom before she said that her head hurt well trying to use the bathroom. So of course I'm worried.

Does she have a history of migraines?

It sounds like a migraine. Does she have medication she can take for them? It would also be helpful to have her lie down in a dark room, with a hot compress on her neck and a cold one over her eyes.
