With my HA/hypochondria it not only makes me assume the worst if I do notice something 'unusual' with my body it also makes mes fearful to check. For this reason I (stupidly) very rarely check my testicles for fear of finding a lump. The last time I did check properly was about a year ago and got them checked by a doctor because I couldn't tell if what I was feeling was normal - he said they were fine.

I checked them today and it feel with the right one like there is a notch on the front side of the right one but I can't feel it with every check. So if i run my finger over the side I may not feel it 9/10 times. I think it may be in the epididymis very very close to where it is attached to the testicle on that side, and if I remember rightly it was because of feeling this last year that I went to the doctor. However, with the passage of time I cannot say for sure.

I guess what I am asking is, if it were testicular cancer, would testicular cancer grow? In other words would the lump/notch continue to grow, would the testicle grow or change? Does anyone here have any experience of testicular cancer?

Other than this patch/notch like thing that I can feel my testicle hasn't changed at all, same size, firmness feeling etc.

Thanks

Cancer is an uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells. It doesn't come and go nor does it stop once it starts.
