I’m wondering if anyone can help me, I had my back molar out 3 days ago today and I am still in pain. Im taking ibuprofen and paracetamol every 6 hours but I’m getting worried about how many I’m taking because as soon as they wear off the pain I is back! Is it possible I have an infection? I don’t have any symptoms of dry socket and the wound itself seems to be healing ok (I think) I’m not currently with a dentist so this was done through emergency and I don’t want to call 111 for another emergency appointment if this is normal healing process and if so when does the pain die down! The pain is like a sore throbbing in my gums and jaw around were it was taking, also some pain around the surrounding teeth!
