Bloody Bank Holidays!!!!

Hi Peeps:D

Well today against my better judgement I went out for the day!!!! Nice little trip to Swanage some 60 miles away:yesyes:

NO It was the trip from hell!!!:mad:

Swanage was packed ditto Bournmouth ditto the entire flippin South Coast:blush:

So my day out consisted of a 125 mile drive and a mediocre pub lunch and hours sitting in traffic:lac:

I make a point of not going anywhere like that on bank holidays, especially if the weather is warm, for the very reasons you said - ie you spend more time sat in traffic than anything else.

Didn't catch any traffic jams but had a stressful time in London meeting a friend. Well, meeting him was fine, but as soon as we heard his sister with the samba drums, I went into panic! Must be a noise thing!

Being in traffic jams is no fun, but is part of toughening us up I suppose...

Hi Ya:D

Bbq was yesterday and it was ok!!!!

Host was a single mate of mine who isent very good at being a host since his divorce!!!

So yes it was ok and afterwards me him and my hubby went to a lovely pub and there was a lovely horse there called Lady who I made friends with and a couple of little kids whose mum owned the horse!!!

Reminded me of my little grandaughter who starts school next week!!!

So happy and sad but ok overall......thanks for asking:hugs:
