It's not after every meal, but I notice it more with more carb-heavy meals. Just had a burger and chips and it's going over 100...so uncomfortable. I've even noticed it after having a sandwhich before. But other times I can eat a massive pasta meal and have no problems. Why would this only happen sometimes?

Yes, it's completely normal. 100% normal. Happens more times than others with me too, and is related to how much the vagus nerve is stimulated after eating.

Accept it, let it go, stop checking.

Tachycardia is common after eating a big meal because
the body directs blood flow to the digestive tract in order to assist with digestion. The amount of blood flow to the abdomen increases based on the size of the meal consumed. In order to compensate for this change in blood flow, the heart must work harder.

Hope that helps

Jup have that too. High carb meals and alcohol.
