Alot of us worry and start to doubt that our minds can actually cause and exacerbate the bodily feelings we get.
The power of the mind is so strong we have little knowedge of its true abilities.
Here are a couple of examples which show this.
Case 1 - Multiple personalities.
There has been many clinical studies which show that different health issues can be expressed by the different personalities.
One case I remember was where a lady had diabetes when in one personality and required insulin and had all the sugar level issues. Then when she switched to another personality she no longer had diabetes but expressed hypertension, which needed to be treated and yet wasnt present in the other personality.
Case 2 - Stigmata.
Below is a video of a documented case of stigmata which was videoed for a documentary.
The bodies ability to create open wounds and bleed and then heal within a crazy short term is amazing.
Now some may believe in stigmata as a religious event, however as this one is historically inaccurate (people didnt have their palms of their hands nailed, but in their wrists) Im falling on the mind over matter on this.

So all in all, can the mind create sensations and muscle tension? Yep.
