I've occasionally had the odd blood blister in my mouth for years, normally the inside of my cheeks caused by my teeth.

For the past 5 months I have, maybe about once a month, been getting blood blisters after eating food. On the soft fleshy parts inside my mouth including my inner low lip yesterday. Don't really hurt. And they clear up after about 2 days or so.

Is this something to be concerned about? Do other people get them?

No its nothing to be concerned about, its just friction causing them.

Yes, I get them, not as often as you but generally a few are here and there by my upper molars. :D

Ask you dentist at next visit to check your 'bite' and see if anything is aggravating the tissue.
