Although I've read the instructions on all my medications, I've vomited today and think it might be because I took all my different tablets at once, but do not want to bother the medical services yet so wondered if anyone else has had similar experiences please?

I am on regular 20mg (one twice a day) of Omeprazole, for acid reflux caused by hiatus hernia and have had no issues taking those for the last couple of years, aside from the odd flare up which required a month's worth of Esomeprazole in its place). I have also been taking Tramadol for pain relief on and off for three weeks due to abdominal pain (prescribed by my GP), and from last Friday peppermint oil slow release capsules (on the advice of my GP, 3 per day).

My question is a) should I leave a gap between taking Omeprazole and peppermint oil (I have been taking them at the same time since Friday), and b) what about the Tramadol? I took one omeprazole, one peppermint oil and two Tramadol all at once before I left for work this morning at 8am and have felt sick since then (which probably suggests I shouldn't have done it!!). Also this was all on an empty stomach (I hadn't eaten since 6:30pm last night, I don't have breakfast during the week). I'm worried I've messed my insides up today. I did not vomit a lot but the peppermint oil capsule came up with it (despite the fact I took it 5 hours ago).

Mark, i don't know the question about your medication, but why aren't they investigating what's causing your stomach pain, rather than treating the symptoms?

Cheapest and easiest option, i suppose?
