Hi everyone.Im going to Devon on Saturday with my partner:wacko:
Im not feeling to bad at the moment, getting stressed a bit as I have so much to sort out!!!!Got to take everything but the kitchen sink, and thats only cos the caravan has one.

Its a year now since I joined here, when I felt I was going to end up in a psychiatric hospital and all you guys helped me through my worse time ever. You are so special to me.:yesyes: :hugs: :yesyes:

Im a bit worried cos my period is due this weekend:lac: and I know my anxiety is going to be higher.Iv started the B6 for pmt but it wouldnt have had time to kick in yet.
I wish I had a lap top then I could take you guys with me.:hugs:

Hi Yorkylover

If you're anything like me, the worrying about something beforehand is actually worse than when you're there! I always spend the time before going away planning lots of things to do when we're there, things that will get me out and about and help me to break the holiday into smaller, manageable slots (whether it be days, mornings, evenings, etc.) I always make sure that I have plenty to do should I be unable to sleep due to worry, such as books, sudoku puzzles, whatever you fancy.

How long are you going for? Try breaking it down, ie if you're going for a week, think that you only have to get through the first three days, and then you've got halfway and lots of proof that you can do it.

Is your partner supportive? Maybe you could take some written advice with you - messages from people on here etc - that you could read if you're feeling low or anxious.

Hope this helps!

Take care and have a lovely holiday.

Hi Yorkylover...

Hope you have a great holiday.
Once you've got the yucky packing sorted out it seems to get a little less stressful?
Hope the weather is nice for you...

Best wishes

Hey Ellen, Devon again!

Good choice :yesyes:!

Don't forget........jam on the scone first and then the clotted cream ok?

Next time you are due a period on holiday ask your GP for some Noresthisterone - it delays things until you get back and stop taking them!

Hope you have and your partner have a brilliant time - and tell all about it when you come back ok?

Well happy paddling to you !

Just don't eat your scones and paddle at the same time - the cream might get soggy.
