Scared of tetanus

I know this is a very silly fear, but I was working on a very rusty car a couple days ago and I hit my finger on a rusty part and it bled it wasn't really a puncture its more of a cut where a small layer of skin was scraped off would this mean I would not get tetanus from it?

Almost certainly not, but are you not current on your tetanus shot? If so, why worry at all. If not, just go get one.
