Small step forward [Archive]

This isn't a major achievement, but i have social phobia and agoraphobia, so for me it kind of is - so i thought i would share!

I just went to the doctor's on my own for the first time in over a year :)

I needed a blood test too :ohmy: , so after i came out of the doctor's room, the receptionist said they could do it today, if i could wait 20 minutes or so. Now the waiting room was pretty jam packed, and my usual reaction would be to say no and get out of there as quickly as possible. But for some reason, today i found myself saying that yes i would wait, and i did, and had the test, and of course it was fine and i survived(!) :blush:

I'm not saying it was an entirely pleasant experience, but then i don't think going to the doctor's generally is! I'm feeling pleased at the mo anyway :)
