Hi, I’ve been having post nasal drip for like forever, Due to allergies and I’m too sensitive to smells and spices, it started like that then I notices that I have a scratchy throat like my soft palate mostly hurts when I talk suddenly or wake up in the morning but it gets better in seconds like I doesn’t continue through out the day just from time to time, I went to the ENT specialist because I also had ear pain and a scary lump in my neck, but he checked and said it was nothing and made blood tests to make me at ease and it was all good, then I started getting this pop like sound when I swallow, it’s at the junction between the neck and jaw, it happens only when I swallow saliva and not always happens, I was checking my throat once and gagged so my uvula moved back and saw two lumps each on on side og the throat when I gagged then It moved back down my throat every time I gag I see them, should I be concerned? My sore throat and ear pain didn’t disappear it still happens but not consistently just from time to time, I have also noticed a white patch in my mouth between the tonsils and my teeth I was checking it and it was like 3mm and it moves with the mucosal surface not on it but with it and sometimes I get pain at the area or near it I don’t know if it’s from my anxiety or Not, please can someone help me with this it’s been annoying me for 10 months now.

Cancer is an uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells. It doesn't come and go nor does it stop once it starts.

What’s your throat look like? I’ve been struggling for three months and I think it’s getting worse.

I’ve had a ct scan and a scope but haven’t had blood work done. Now I’m concerned!

My tonsils are normal, and when I gag I see two lumps raising each on one side its deeper red than my mouth.
You should be fine the ct and scope should have picked anything abnormal if it was there, I hadn’t had any just a blood test and I’m so worried now.

Hi...
I have this white patch inside my mouth behind my teeth..it has been there for more than four months and I’m terrified now... it feels like there is a lump and the white patch is on it but doesn’t cover it completely.
I’ve read about mouth cancer and the low survival rate especially when it’s delayed like this.. what should I do? I’m so scared to go to the doctor and hear possibly bad news. This is how it looks like

Good 'ol Dr. Google

I'm a Head and Neck cancer survivor.

Has it grown? Are there more symptoms? Didn't think so :lac: Frankly it sounds like a dental issue. We can't tell you anything here by looking at an image so if you're that concerned see a dentist or doctor.

Is it painful? If it wasn't there for 4 months I would say canker sore, but those normally last for only up to few weeks for me. Maybe someone else who has better experience with mouth problems will know exactly what you have. What ever it is, I highly doubt it is mouth cancer, or anything really bad for the matter.

I also have a white patch on the same side on my inner cheek that it has been there for six months
Pls help me I’m losing my mind here

'I've noticed' I think is the important word. The other day I was looking at my throat as had a terrible cough, which has been ongoing since a cold weeks ago. I 'noticed' parts of my throat I'd not had a close look at before and there were lumps, bumps, white patches, veins, yellow bits and all sorts of odd things I'd not 'noticed' before. It must have always been like that, but I 've never looked as closely before. Shining a torch into your throat you will see things that have been there forever, but look new to you. The human throat isn't a flat uniform pink thing, and neither is the human mouth mucous membrane. There are individual differences that we all have and if you'd not gone looking you'd be none the wiser. (https://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=1843133)

Sometimes you can have some food stuck in your tonsils, and that can cause a local infection, swelling etc. It can be on just one side, at least it has been for me several times.
