My success today !

Hi

I have been working so hard over the last couple of years trying beat Agorophobia and i am just about there, today i made another step. I found using public transport one of the hardest things to try and overcome without panic, and for the last couple of months i have been having a therapist working with me once a week to over come my fear. I have been meeting her in different places near my home, and we have been getting the bus togeather to the next town and then returning home togeather.
Well today she decided i should walk to the bus station on my own, get on the bus on my own and travel alone to the next village and she would meet me at the bus stop when i got off !! WELL I DID IT !!! All on my own!:yesyes: Im absoloultey chuffed to bits today, because its the one thing i never ever thought i would ever be able to do alone, and not only did i get there alone, i travelled back home alone too !!( luckily i had a little old sweet lady sat next to me too that could talk for England so that helped take my mind off things
too)lol

Well today i have done it again, walked up to the bus station on my own and caught the bus to the next town to meet my therapist, it didnt seem as easy as last week, i nearly lost the plot when the bus stopped at a set of traffic lights, i just felt the anxiety rising and felt all hot and dizzy and the need to escape quickly, but i got my mobile phone out and started to text a friend and it went away.:yesyes: So im pleased with myself.
