In august last year i found one on the right side of my shoulder, i had full blood work and three ultrasounds and although they couldn’t find anything suspicious I have an appointment with a specialist this week.
On top of that in october last year i found another one behind my left ear, i had just gotten over a sinus infection, but it’s been three months now and it’s still there.
I’m so terrified.
Had anyone else had swollen lymph nodes and it turned out to be nothing?

Hi,

I have had quite large swollen lymph nodes under my jaw on my neck and in my cheeks for some reason. They’ve always been there and don’t grow or get sore. I think it’s quite common for lymph nodes to swell and then never go back to normal. I’ve had blood work when they’ve been there and it’s always come back clear.

Hope you don’t stress too much

How many do you have? Have you ever had them checked out?

I have one “enlarged” lymph node in postierior triangle of neck for 9 years. 3 enlarged lymph nodes on each side of armpit for about a year. 1 epitrochlear lymph node on each arm for about a year. So that is 9 lymph nodes total. Funny thing is that is not why I joined this forum. Lol. Every so often I get a bit worried about them but none have changed since they have been found. I have probably had the epitrochlear and armpit nodes longer than a year. I probably just never noticed them.

Now when I say enlarged I don’t mean clinically enlarged. I just mean I can feel them. Mine range fro 5mm to 1.5 cm.

I have one that's been swollen behind my ear for as long as I can remember. Sometimes it gets a bit sore if I'm rundown, but otherwise it doesn't cause any issues.

Are yours equal on both sides?
Are they painful?

I only have on one side and they don’t hurt, that’s what worries me. :(

I have three on the left side of my neck. Have had one of them for over a decade. Other two for about 3 years. But they are quite small now

I've had one on my neck behind my ear and under my jawline for 15ish years now and it's fairly large. I always have doctors notice during checkups and they don't seem concerned even before I tell them it's been there forever.

I’ve had 2 lymph nodes in the posterior triangle for 5 months already, one on each side. Had them checked countless times and doctors said that most probably are just normal. They are the cause of my HA as well.
