I've had a swollen lymph node just under my jaw on the left side for over 3 months now. At first it was swollen to the point you could see it and it was sore. It shrunk down to almost nothing but then started swelling up again. I was put on an antibiotic and it reduced in size again, although I dunno if it was the antibiotic or just a coincidence. It's pretty tiny now and no longer visible to the eye and I can't feel it by gently brushing my fingers over my skin anymore, but I can still feel it clearly there if I press in just a bit. I have no other swollen lymph nodes and none of the doctors I've seen were concerned.
However, 3 1/2 months later I can still feel it. I was under the impression these things shouldn't be swollen this long and I'm starting to panic. Should I go back to a doctor??
