Brown mucus like discharge?

So the last few times after I’ve pooped I’ve wiped and there has been a brown like discharge that’s almost mucus like. It doesn’t smell like poop tmi I know but whatever, and it’s starting to freak me out. My diet hasn’t been stellar. Im trying to increase my water intake. And I don’t think I’m ask constipated as I’ve been in the past. Really worried about colon cancer. Very stressed about it. And today my stomach hurts and I can’t tell if it’s because I’m hungry, or if something is seriously wrong. Has anyone ever had anything like that when they wiped?!

Yeah, it’s mucous. It can be all sorts of colours. I’ve never really worried about it if I’m honest.

Yep, mucous is 'designed' to ease the passage of stools through the colon. Sometimes there is more, sometimes there is less, it can be a variety of colours from white to brown shades. Thats all it is.
