has anyone ever taken Stemetil for balance/vertigo disorder??

just prescribed stemetil for my balance disorder. i am still in the process of tests to see what is causing my symptoms. i am constantly off balance and sway while i stand and am convinced there is something sinister that is wrong with me and this is causing great anxiety.
