My mother was at her GP yesterday with an ongoing cough/cold/feeling unwell. I say ongoing but it's only been a week-ish. Dr sounded her chest and said it sounded clear, but then when she got home he phoned her and said that he would like her to go for a chest xray. Why would he want this, when her chest sounded clear? Is it possible to check for infection, or could it be to check in case it is something sinister? She does smoke. :scared10:
