Elevated ALT on liver test

I recently had a blood test that showed a high liver test. My ALT was 51 the lab range was 7-46. All of my other liver tests were normal. I did have high cholesterol. I am overweight, but not dramatically so.

My doctor said that it is likely fatty liver and to re check it soon. I have the next test in a few days.

The past few weeks I have been really anxious about what it could be. Everything from Cirrhosis to Liver Cancer to Pancreatic Cancer Stomach Cancer. Pretty much every kind of cancer.

Anyone have any experience with ALT or liver enzymes?

yes I had it when pregnant and it came down afterwards luckily. mine was 57 and apparently that's really not high. high is like 200 or so. that's what I was told st the time anyway. hope all ok
